NESIAS MAGAZINE COMMITTEE

 College Magazine, aims to inform, inspire, entertain and create awareness on a number of current  information and development of campus to a diverse readership. an Editorial Board is formed comprising faculties. 

Objectives

 A college magazine is a mirror of the college life. It projects the important events celebrated, the activities done and achievements earned in the college during a period. It brings out the latent creative talents of the students and thus helps them to be good writers. 

Purpose

 

  • To raise resources for publication of the magazine,
  • To receive the articles/reports from the students/staff and edit the same,
  • To ensure that no reports/articles objectionable in nature are published,
  • To arrange to have photographs of staff and students required for the magazine on every event of the College,
  • To get the magazine printed  and distribute the same to students and staff.

BUILDING MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE

 This committee is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the effective maintenance of the institute's infrastructure and other related facilitates. The committee ensures that annual building and other maintenance requirements are satisfied. 

Objectives

Correspond with the People Responsible for the Maintenance and Monitor the Quality of Work and Given Time Schedule of the Job. To Monitor Regular Maintenance in the Institute on Daily Basis. To Monitor Regular Annual Maintenance of the Institute and Related Infrastructure. 

Purpose

The purpose of the maintenance committee is to oversee maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of the coop's buildings, property, common areas and grounds. The committee advises, supports, and makes recommendations to the board of directors on all matters of facilities management and maintenance.

NESIAS CAMPUS MAINTENANCE

 Ensuring uninterrupted water and electrical supply in the campus. Utilizing and maintaining college furniture efficiently. Maintaining gardens and lawns in the campus by using efficient garden and landscape maintenance equipment. 

Objectives

Facility maintenance ensures that all areas, assets and structures within or around a facility are operating as optimally as possible for maximum efficiency and safety. A facility maintenance task can be reactive and unplanned or preventive and scheduled. 

Purpose

 To create safe environment in campus by installing and maintaining fire Extinguishers and CC cameras in the campus. To maintain college campus clean and healthy by ensuring dry and wet cleaning in periodic intervals in classrooms, seminar halls, wash rooms and rest rooms.

To receive applications and scrutinize through the admission committee to confirm the eligibility. To offer counseling on the contents of the programmes offered by the College. To give priority to merit and maintain reservations as directed by the University. 

Objectives

Selecting the right students and giving equal opportunities to all without any discrimination are the two main objectives of this committee. A separate committee is formed at the end of every academic year to look after the admission of the students for the subsequent year. 

Purpose

 The Admission Process is a matter of significance as it is vital to the reputation of the college.  An office administration committee is a group of people who manage the administrative tasks of an office. They can be responsible for a variety of tasks.

Objectives

 The primary objectives of an office administration committee are to ensure smooth office operations by overseeing administrative functions, improving communication, streamlining processes, managing resources efficiently, and promoting a positive work environment; this includes tasks like reviewing policies, addressing operational issues, coordinating staff support, and implementing new administrative procedures to enhance overall office efficiency.  

Purpose

 An office administration committee's primary purpose is to oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative functions of an organization, ensuring smooth operations by handling tasks like office policies, procedures, supplies, facilities management, and staff support, ultimately contributing to efficient workflow and a productive work environment.

 A college affiliation committee is a group of people who review applications and make decisions about whether to affiliate colleges with a university. The committee may also be responsible for setting conditions for affiliation and monitoring the development of affiliated colleges.  

Objectives

 

  • Assess suitability: Evaluate the college's academic, financial, and physical infrastructure 
  • Prepare proposals: Create proposals for affiliation and grants, and submit them to the university 
  • Follow guidelines: Adhere to the policies and guidelines set out by the university 
  • Ensure compliance: Ensure that the college meets the university's requirements for affiliation 

Purpose

 A college affiliation committee's purpose is to ensure that a college meets the standards set by a larger institution and can be affiliated with it. The committee also helps the college prepare for the affiliation process.

The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) serves as the platform for interaction between the college students and companies since June 2004. TPC assists desired final year students to get suitable job after completion of their program. However, the training and grooming commences from the very first year. 

Objectives

  • To provide career guidance about avenues open after graduation. ...
  • To provide recruitment to students.
  • To provide exposure to UG pursuing students.
  • To have good relations with the recruiters.
  • Managing Recruiters correspondence and feedback's.
  • Organizing Pre- Placement Training's.

Purpose

 The purpose of the cell is to develop/train the students so that the students will be competent enough for recruitment and to facilitate the students to choose the right career or assist the students in finding the job.

INSTITUTION AND INDUSTRY INTERACTION PROGRAM

 Invite educators to the industry to understand expectations, and recruiters to visit campus to empathize with the challenges of the educational institutions. It helps academia and industry to understand each other, empathize and bring the required changes to enhance employability. 

Objectives

 The main objective of the Industry Institute Interaction Committee is to enhance the industry relevance of the institute's programs, curriculum, and research activities. It aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom and its practical application in real-world industry settings. 

Purpose

To conduct Industrial Training, Orientation Courses, Industrial Visits etc. for faculty and students at regular intervals. To facilitate collaborative projects and consultancy involving faculty and students. To conduct industrial exhibitions to highlight research facilities and expertise available with the institution.

Instruct to clean the exterior and interior of lockers regularly according to care instructions. Lubricate moving parts with a suitable product to ensure smooth operation. Regularly inspect for signs of damage or wear, including missing rivets, loose hinges and locking mechanism functionality. 

Objectives

  • The first step in efficient locker maintenance is regular cleaning.
  • Periodically inspect your lockers for any signs of damage.
  • Metal and steel lockers are prone to rust, especially in humid environments.
  • Laminate lockers offer a stylish and durable option for many environments.

Purpose

 Proper locker maintenance ensures the longevity of your storage locker systems. Regular upkeep, proper ventilation, clear guidelines and overload prevention are keys to maximizing the lifespan of your valuable investment and preventing unnecessary locker costs.

 Scholarships provide financial support for students to help pay for a college degree. These funds enable students to obtain education they may not have access to otherwise. Scholarships go further than being financial aid for many students. They reward deserving students with the ability to afford higher education. 

Objectives

This committee will review all college wide students scholarship applications of ST/SC/OBC/Minority and make recommendations to the principal of the college for the final decision. The scholarship committee may be asked to also review other student awards as needed. 

Purpose

 To scrutinize scholarship forms of the students and ensure to submit / process the same on time to the respective department. To collect applications from students and make recommendations to the Dean of the college for final decision.
